Monday while sewing, the bobbin in my machine went flying. I realized I'd need to take the machine in for a tune-up. My Featherweight hums and purrs with a quiet assurance that it's doing its job with precision. Yet, I miss the speed at which I could sew on my Bernina. I realize each year when I take my machine in and use this one for some pieceing, how fast I've become used to sewing. Right now I'm working on a backing for a quilt that I hope to quilt soon.
