I am racking my brain trying to think of the name of your chaining block. Not Jewel Box or Buckeye Beauty---it will probably come to me at some unexpected point.

Those blocks will look great in a quilt that accentuates the lines of the red chains! I may draw it up in EQ just to see what it actually looks like, not just in my head.

You know I went to the block lotto pictures of other block lotto blocks because I had these directional 3.5 in blocks. I drew out the pattern and then just yesterday, I realized it is the same as the Buckeye Beauty blocks I've made only with the placement of the HST's on the opposite sides of what I had done before. Personally I would rather move the blocks differently so as to change the directions of the HST's, but with the directional print of the pink elephants it will need to be the way they are laid out on my design wall. Here's one I did http://pattilousquilts.blogspot.com/2010/05/ufo-31-complete.html and the one that made me realize that I had used a Buckeye Beauty block: http://pattilousquilts.blogspot.com/2011/05/why-graduation-quilts.html

Lucky for you that you can use EQ! My EQ5 just seems to inhibit my creative process!

Thanks for the visit.
